Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actor. She was born in Winnipeg and was raised in Wellington Paquin made her acting debut in the role of Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she was awarded the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at age 11 making the actress second to win an award within Oscar history. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad her character was the queen of Spain as a minor character. She played teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) and A Walk on the Moon (1999) and portrayed the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa as a character in Almost Famous (2000).
