Emily Bett Rickards was born in July 1991. She is an Canadian Actress best known as Felicity in The CW's TV show Arrow. Rickards was born and raised in British Columbia. Beginning on her career path at a young age, she began to explore musical theatre and dance, in the hopes of introducing herself to more serious acting. Her high school graduation was sooner than she anticipated and enrolled at Vancouver Film School where she earned her acting essentials certificate. In the open call that followed the search for an agent, she was able to find one for her. Alida Vocal Studio was her place of study in Vancouver. Originally, she was signed as a one-episode guest star, her chemistry with show's co-star Stephen Amell coupled with positive fan reaction as well as her sarcastic quips led to her first being signed as a recurring co-star in the remainder of the initial season.
