Anna Silk was the first child of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor director, producer, playwright and teacher at St. Thomas University). Anna was born in Fredericton. She is being the daughter of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" who hails originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending rehearsals for plays as a child and observing her mother doing her job. Anna appeared in several advertisements when she was a child. Anna relocated to Toronto in November 1999 in order to continue her acting career. Then, she settled in Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They were engaged by 2009 after getting married. Anna, who had converted to Judaism in the year before, and Seth Cooperman were married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. In April of 2011 the couple renewed their wedding vows by having a Jewish ceremony. Bo and Lauren's love story (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) is featured in CNN's top television couple list.
